Another 50 big ones!
Happy 50th Birthday to my wonderful and beautiful Mother!
You truly know me like no other and I thank the Lord daily for blessing me with you in my life. I miss you everyday...and wish you another 50 years to spread your generous and joyful smile in this world!

Sequoia National Forest
I can't describe how amazing this past weekend was. We packed up the car with a few essentials: flashlight, tent, wood, a frying pan, a cooler for two, (hand sanitizer for the germ-phoebes that we are) ...filled up the tank and headed to the mountains! I now know why they call California the Golden State. The hills were singing $dollar$ signs, the sky was clear and full of life, and the open plains were covered with lush vegetation that feeds the greater population.
In two short days we put on over 800 miles on "daisy" and recharged our internal batteries for another beautiful week. We headed north and drove up to Sequoia National Forest & Kings Canyon.. for a weekend of hiking, camping, fires, shooting stars, rivers, and the most breathe-taking views I've ever seen!

2 Wonderful Years...
Today marks two humbling and wonderful years of marriage to my very best friend! We've grown to understand and learn from each others mistakes... and to make one another stronger and sturdier for a solid foundation together and for our future. I love you with every beaming breathe I take and count my blessings daily to have been given the opportunity to be your wife and partner here on this earth! God is good and we are so blessed. Happy Anniversary Hunny!

Happy Monday!
Go out into the day and be determined to enjoy it!
Psalm 30:5 says that joy comes in the morning....If you want to be happy, you have to be happy on purpose! When we wake up in the morning, we can't just wait to see what kind of day we'll have..We have to decide what kind of day it's going to be!
Life is full of inconveniences, interruptions and difficult people. We can't control all of our circumstances, but we can control our reactions. I've decided in advance that no matter what comes my way, I will stay at peace today...knowing that God is directing my steps and that all things will work together for my good!
