Message Boards

"Your conscience is one of God's many message boards in your life"

After reading this I not only decided I needed to de-clutter my thoughts to really be able to distinguish the truth of my sub conscience and what God is speaking into my life; but decided it would be fun to find some of my favorite "Message Boards" and ways I could become a bit more organized in my daily routine of life in the home & office!

The Perfect "Soaker"...

As the seasons change into winter jackets, Christmas carols, hot cider and warm bubble baths…I figured I would post some of my favorite “On-My-Wish-List” bathroom tubs. There are so many options for the perfect “soakers” I couldn’t pick just one.  I would say my dream home would have a classic claw foot tub with a lovely stool for my books and an aroma candle lit- but after seeing all these beauties it is so hard to decide…

Happy Oct. 31st

Today is the day kids roam the streets to fill their plastic pumpkins with candy! Since we won’t be receiving doorbell rings at our place this evening and have opted out of dressing up in costumes; I’ve decided to eat all the skittles & snickers I want for this special occasion…
Happy Halloween!

“Frankly Friday”

Happiness is a choice that you make. It does not depend on your circumstances.
Every day is worth celebrating! As I grow in my marriage, as a wife and life partner, I try to embrace each day and recognize its full potential. I am so blessed everyday to have a wonderful supporting husband who I adore and admire! The other day my husband and I stopped at this fabulous showroom called "Bon Bon" and found some amazing pieces. I could have spent hours looking and gazing at all the beauties. Til' Next time..(or just more time without the hubs to distract me)

I loved this little twin...

Amazing lighting to intermix in my dining room
(Yes Please)

Who's the Handsome Man waiting patiently for the beach?

I'll take an R & J please..

The hubs was trying to talk me into designing the bedroom with the ENTIRE matching set
(I just want the bed)

Couldn't take my eyes off this rustic beauty

When I buy my beachfront I want the sandy neutrals and navy blues!

The showroom was filled with apothecary & old medicine canters..LOVE

Have a LOVELY weekend!!

Brushes…

Every time I see a set of brushes my heart starts to gets excited. Whether they are canvas brushes or big industrial construction brushes…I instantly get a sense of calmness and serenity that surrounds me. WHY…? I've always loved painting. My sister Bethany and I started Lohse's Interiors when we were still in high school because we had a love for painting. (It became the basis of our business for over 5 years; Residential Painting). Being able to create something with the strokes and steadiness of your hand…
Call me crazy-

But I'm not just talking about the fixer-upper attitude of paint that can re-create a space. I'm also talking about those little brushes that get thrown in the craft box after you got a whiff of inspiration to paint on canvas- developed a piece and called it a day. Those brushes… So I decided I'm going to take them out of retirement and set them out as an accessory and daily reminder to set aside some time to Paint!
